Just a note to let everyone know we are still here and still have the van, although I do not know how long we will be able to keep it up. It is low budget after all and the budget just keeps on getting tighter.
Again for a second year in a row, we are not taking the van abroad, we found mobile-homes for less than taking the van. That is taking into account that for the car, the ferry is much cheaper and diesel usage is far less.
If you read any of my other blogs, you will probably know we have been buying vouchers from Groupon for short breaks in hotel rooms cheaper than we can go camping. However we now have a Groupon for a couple of nights on a campsite near Whitby, so will be using the van early in July. We also have a site booked for a few nights in August with the twins.
For now we will be using the van but nothing like as much as we used to.
